Charity Support 2020; Open House & Fundraiser for PEACE @ Plant Life Nutrition Feb. 5, 2020


As part of our mission statement we support local charity and fundraising events. we will be at the following event on Feb. 5th, 2020  by Plant Life Nutrition:

"We are very excited to be hosting our first event of 2020!

Please join us for our customer appreciation open house and fundraising event for the animal rescue charity PEACE (People Ensuring Animal Care Exists).

We will have a variety of local vendors in store offering samples of their products, including:

~ Earth's Eats
~ Ergogenics
~ Advanced Orthomolecular Research
~ Garufood
~ Shani’seasoning
~ Amoda Tea

At 6:30pm, our nutritionist Synergy Nutrition will be doing a demo of her favourite breakfast recipe.

At 7pm, there will be a vegan nutrition Q&A session with vegan Ironman and personal trainer Luckie Sigouin from and Synergy Nutrition.

We will be raising funds via raffle tickets for some amazing prizes from:

People Ensuring Animal Care Exists (P.E.A.C.E.) is a volunteer run registered Charity in British Columbia, Canada. P.E.A.C.E.’s mission is uniting and working with farm animal sanctuaries through Resources, Rescues and Education. P.E.A.C.E.’s website hosts free resources for sanctuaries, from discounted lawyer fees to help get their charity status to free photographers and grant options for projects. On their website P.E.A.C.E. also has resources for the public from local sanctuaries by region, animal sponsorship pages, resources for teachers and parents and so much more!

With rescues P.E.A.C.E. works with farm animal sanctuaries through homing, fostering, organizing and paying for transport and medical fees of rescued farm animals. P.E.A.C.E. has also organized many education classes in 2019 for farm animal sanctuaries, from social media to grant writing. P.E.A.C.E. is currently developing humane education options for schools, finding alternatives for chicken hatching, working with farm animal sanctuaries to offer school tours as well as organizing the first BC Farm Sanctuaries Tour Weekend for 2020."
